Injectable Dermal Fillers

At Coastal Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Center, we offer a curated selection of premium injectable dermal fillers. Under the expert care of our female Corpus Christi plastic surgeon, each dermal filler treatment is personalized to match your aesthetic preferences while prioritizing safety, beautiful results, and long-lasting confidence.

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are cosmetic injectables designed to restore lost volume beneath the skin, smooth out lines, and rejuvenate facial contours. Unlike BOTOX® Cosmetic (which works by relaxing overactive facial muscles), dermal fillers can replenish areas that have thinned or hollowed over time due to age-related collagen loss.1

While fillers can be formulated from various substances, the most commonly used type at our practice contains hyaluronic acid (HA) — a naturally-occurring compound that supports hydration and skin elasticity. Because HA is biocompatible and integrates safely with the body’s tissues, it remains one of the most trusted and widely used filler materials in aesthetic medicine.

What Can Dermal Fillers Treat?

In the hands of an experienced injector, dermal fillers can ease numerous cosmetic concerns. Common treatment goals include:

If you so desire, Dr. Hinojosa can often use dermal filler injections to enhance the effects of a major facial procedure (e.g. facelift or eyelid surgery).

Which Dermal Fillers Are Available?

Dr. Hinojosa offers three leading filler lines:

The Revance® RHA® Collection of Dermal Fillers

The RHA® Collection was created with flexibility and movement in mind. Its resilient hyaluronic acid formula can adapt to facial expressions, making it a top choice for dynamic areas like around the mouth and eyes. This adaptability allows RHA® fillers to maintain facial expressiveness while smoothing lines and restoring volume.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® is a well-established family of HA dermal fillers known for their smooth, gel-like formulas. Certain products in the collection are developed for deeper placement to provide structural support in areas like the cheeks or chin, while others target facial folds and lip enhancement. When selected and placed appropriately, JUVÉDERM® fillers can deliver natural-looking volume and contour with predictable results.2

Restylane®

Restylane® is a versatile line of HA-based fillers, each formulated to address goals ranging from subtle smoothing to more defined facial contouring. Specific products in the line are often selected for precision work — such as lip shaping, delicate under-eye correction, and refinement of smaller facial areas — helping patients achieve balanced facial harmonization or targeted volume restoration.3

During your consultation, Dr. Hinojosa will evaluate your facial anatomy, skin quality, and aesthetic objectives and recommend the filler (or combination of fillers) best suited to your needs.

How Are Dermal Fillers Administered?

Dermal filler treatments at our practice are performed in-office and typically take about 15 to 45 minutes. Dr. Hinojosa may apply a topical numbing agent to improve comfort. Once the area is prepared, the filler is carefully injected beneath the skin using a fine needle or a cannula. After your injection, you may notice mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness; these side effects are common and should resolve within a few days.

Most patients appreciate the minimal downtime associated with dermal fillers. Many return to work or daily activities shortly after their appointment, though Dr. Hinojosa may advise you to avoid strenuous exercise for the first 24 to 48 hours.

Results are often visible immediately and can last anywhere from several months to over a year, depending on the type of filler used, the treatment area, and your body’s individual metabolism. To maintain your desired look, periodic touch-ups are typically recommended.

How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost in Corpus Christi?

Pricing can vary based on the type of filler used, the number of syringes needed, the area(s) being treated, and the injector’s expertise.

Because each dermal filler experience is unique, we encourage patients to schedule a private consultation with our reputable plastic surgeon. After evaluating your facial anatomy, aesthetic desires, and the most appropriate filler options, Dr. Hinojosa will provide a customized cost estimate. To make aesthetic care more accessible for qualified patients, we also offer financing plans through trusted third‑party partners like Cherry®.
